HSL to RGB Converter
Type hue, saturation and lightness and see the RGB color.
Pick a color with sliders
How it works
The converter turns hue, saturation and lightness back into red, green and blue by finding the color's chroma, which is its strength, and then placing it in the right sector of the color wheel. Hue 0, saturation 100%, lightness 50% is pure red, RGB 255, 0, 0. Drag the sliders to pick any screen color and watch its hue, saturation and lightness update.

FAQ
Why does 100% lightness always give white?
Lightness 100% means fully lit, so every channel maxes out whatever the hue or saturation. The result is always white.
What does 0% saturation do to a color?
It removes the hue entirely and leaves grey. The lightness then decides how dark or light that grey is.
Does the hue wrap around past 360?
Hue 360 is the same as hue 0, since the wheel is a circle. Values above 360 are treated as 360 in this tool, which is red.
