Hex to RGB Converter
Type a hex color code and see its red, green and blue values at once.
Pick a color with sliders
How it works
A hex code is three pairs of digits. Each pair stands for one color channel, red, green, then blue, in base 16. FF means 255 and 00 means 0, so #FF0000 is red 255, green 0, blue 0. Type a code with or without the # sign, or use 3 digits like #F00 and it expands to #FF0000. The sliders below work the other way: drag them and the hex code updates to match.

FAQ
Can I type a 3-digit hex code?
Yes. #F00 expands to #FF0000, and the same rule works for any 3-digit code. Each digit doubles, so #ABC becomes #AABBCC.
Do I need to type the # sign?
No. FF0000 works the same as #FF0000. The tool strips the # if you include it.
What does the preview box show?
It shows the exact color your code makes, so you can check it at a glance before you copy the values.
