How it works

Type a fruit name, and this fruit nutrition finder shows its nutrition per 100 grams: calories, fat, sugar, carbohydrates, and protein. For example, a banana has 96 calories and 17.2 grams of sugar per 100 grams, while a strawberry has 29 calories and 5.4 grams of sugar. The list covers 49 common fruits, from apple and mango to durian and avocado, and it is built into this page, so it works even if a live fruit service is down. Values are averages for the fruit, not for a specific brand or ripeness, so use them as a guide, not a medical measurement. If your fruit is not in the list, it is not covered yet, not zero calories.

FAQ

Why is this list fixed, not live?

The live fruit service does not allow browser requests, so this tool uses a fixed list of 49 fruits with verified nutrition values, so it always works.

Are the values per fruit or per 100 grams?

Per 100 grams of the fruit. A whole fruit can weigh more or less than 100 grams, so scale the numbers to the amount you eat.

Can I use this for a diet plan?

As a rough guide, yes. For medical or strict diet advice, talk to a doctor or dietitian, since individual needs vary.
