HSV to RGB Converter
Type hue, saturation and value and see the RGB color.
Pick a color with sliders
How it works
The converter turns hue, saturation and value back into red, green and blue by finding the color's chroma and placing it in the right sector of the wheel, then adding back the dimming amount. Hue 0, saturation 100%, value 100% is pure red, RGB 255, 0, 0. Drag the sliders to pick any screen color and watch its hue, saturation and value update.

FAQ
Why does 0% saturation give grey, not white?
With no saturation the color has no hue left, so all three channels match and you get grey. How light that grey is comes from the value.
What happens if I type saturation over 100?
It is clamped to 100. Saturation above 100% has no meaning, since the color is already fully saturated.
Is the hue slider the same as the HSL hue?
Yes, hue means the same wheel position in both systems. Only the second and third numbers differ: value measures brightness, lightness measures the midpoint between black and white.
