Pokémon Lookup
Type a Pokémon name or number and see its types, size, and base stats.
Compare two Pokémon
How it works
This Pokémon lookup uses PokéAPI, a free Pokémon database, to show a Pokémon's picture, types, height in metres, weight in kilograms, base experience, abilities, and its six base stats: HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed, with bars and a total. Type a name like pikachu, or a number like 25, which is Pikachu's Pokédex number. Stats, names, and pictures are shown for identification only. You can also compare two Pokémon: look one up, type a second name or number in the compare box, and see their stats side by side, with the higher value in each row in bold.

FAQ
Where do the pictures come from?
PokéAPI serves the official artwork for the Pokémon you look up. The art itself belongs to Nintendo, Game Freak, and The Pokémon Company, and the result credits them.
What do base stats mean?
They are the Pokémon's starting stats before training and levels. Higher is stronger in that area, and the total gives a rough overall strength.
Can I search by number?
Yes. Type the Pokédex number, like 1 for Bulbasaur, 25 for Pikachu, or 150 for Mewtwo.
